Accessibility
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. This page says honestly where we are against that, including the parts we know are not there yet.

What we aim for
Everyone should be able to browse, start a trial and get an item back without needing a mouse, a steady hand or perfect eyesight.
We are working to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. We are not claiming full conformance, because we have not had an independent audit yet.
What we do
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
- Focus is always visible, as a 3px turquoise outline with clear separation.
- Text meets AA contrast against its background throughout.
- Headings are properly ordered, with one h1 per page.
- Images that carry meaning have alternative text; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Motion is disabled entirely for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion.
- The layout works down to 375px and reflows without horizontal scrolling.
- Forms have real labels, not placeholder text standing in for them.
What is not right yet
Known gaps, rather than a list of intentions:
- We have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit. Everything here is our own assessment.
- We have not tested with the full range of screen readers. JAWS and Dragon in particular are untested.
- Some product photography comes from suppliers with unhelpful alternative text, which we are working through.
- The category filters are keyboard operable but the number of options makes tabbing through them slow.
